Great value for the price - the rooms are basic but sufficient for the low cost. Convenient location - close to bus stations, the old city, and the night market.- Nice staff - they even organized a free dinner for Christmas!

Unattractive surroundings - the hotel is located in a back alley with grey buildings and hostels. Small dorm rooms - the rooms are cramped for the number of beds.

This guesthouse offers a clean and spacious room with comfortable beds. The location is convenient, with a nearby market and attractions within walking distance. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to assist with travel arrangements and provide helpful advice. The facilities include multiple showers and toilets to avoid any inconvenience, free drinking water in the lobby, and a room to store luggage if needed. The guesthouse also provides tickets for various attractions and offers a small locker in the room for personal belongings.

The guesthouse may have a lot of stairs, which can be a challenge for some guests.

I recently stayed at this hostel in Bangkok for a few nights and had a great experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with individual plugs and lights, as well as curtains for privacy. The cleanliness of the entire hostel, especially the bathrooms, was impressive. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. Plus, they have three adorable cats, which added a unique and enjoyable touch. The location was convenient, within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and clubs. I highly recommend this hostel for its comfort, cleanliness, and friendly staff.

    100% Recommend this hotel.

The staff were mind-blowingly good - super helpful with excellent English! Beds were hard but comfy, and free lockers provided. The whole place was jaw-droppingly clean. It's conveniently located right next to a fantastic nightly food market, and the rooftop patio was a pleasant surprise. Prices were very affordable for the quality of the place. Highly recommended!

I had a pleasant stay at 168 Chiangmai Guesthouse. The property offered good value for money and was sufficient for my one-night stay before catching the bus to Chiang Rai. The staff was friendly, and the hostel was constantly being cleaned. They even had a few friendly cats roaming around. Privacy for my bed was a nice touch. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would recommend this hotel overall.

The small cafe on the premises serves the most delicious Shawarma I've ever tasted. The rooftop chilling area is a unique feature, where you can relax, do your laundry, and even meet the hostel rabbit. The air conditioning in the room was strong and kept me cool all night. The hostel is impeccably clean, with high hygiene standards. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and clubs.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
